P.D.O is back and its better that ever. The kowhai goes outside school and goes to pohutakawa playhouse.The kahikatea go outside school and go to master bowl and have hamburgers for lunch.The person from room 5 that won it is kendyl congratulations.

Food fair

Last week DPS had there food fair there was a sausage sizzle,sushi,popcorn,lolly kebabs and much much more. We raised up to 6.000 dollars congratulations DPS.

touch rugby is on again with lots of kids who are eager to join!! all the teams are practicing hard and are improving every second! so go all teams !!!!

FOOD FAIR

well next week it is the food fair we have a very large range of foods, such as sushi, hangi and

mystery jars. our class is doing spiders and american hot dogs so come along and tell your parents about the food fair! and so your mother wont have to cook and the kids wont have to do

dishes!!!!!

outside celebration time

Today we had a outside celebration time because it was so hot and the schoolgen cluster day was in the hall.We had to have songs with echos but we remembered some.

DPS has won the green gold award well done DPS. we have now got a green gold flag and a awesome certificate in the office! we even had a special celebration time to celebrate it!and we got ice blocks after yum!!!

Today at celebration time the pride person of the week was Billy. Well done Billy for making peaceful pride choices in class, clap, clap, clap.

DPS are starting mod softball and tee-ball season next week so DPS are practicing so if we are practicing then we are daring to dream way to go DPS.

Room 5 is back for a confident learning term. We are already showing pride and trying our hardest to get p.d.o person this term keep up the great work room 5.

St Matthews

In Week 8 and 10 Room 5 went to st matts were they taught us a P.E [physical Education].

In week 8 it was raining so we went into the gymnasium and played bench ball.

In week 10 it was sunny and they had the high jump mats out so we played tee ball but when u get to a base u have to jump on it.

MIS variety show

On tuesday Douglas Park seniors walked to MIS for a variety show it was awesome.

There was singing Michael Jackson moves and more it was so fun that we were talking about it all the way back to school.

MARBLING

we have started a new topic in art marbling. you chose 3 colours and put 3 drops on to a dot that is in a tray of water then you mix the colours together being careful that you don't go to fast you can still see what colours you had then you put your piece of paper on to the water and then you pull the peice of paper out wala all done!!!!!

P.D.O Person

the person who has been nominated from our class and gets to be the p.d.o person is Ashlee in room 5. she and some other kids will be able to have a fun day with Mr Brown. they are going to be watching a movie and enjoying junk food this will be a fun treat for the p.d.o people who deserve being there. it will be happening over tuesday and monday, tuesday for the kowhai and Wednsday for the kahikatea.
