natural resources/water

Since term two we have been learning about natural resources. This term we have been concentrating on water.

So far we've have been learning about the water cycle, here's a diagram to show you the cycle:



In the next few weeks we'll be thinking more about water as a natural resource and how we use it.

"How to Make a Cupcake Ice-Cream"

INGREDIENTS
Cone
Candy
Large cupcake
Frosting
Little cupcake
Sprinkles

STEPS
1 : Fill half the cone with candy.
2 : Get your large cupcake and put frosting on the top and put it upside down into the cone
3 : Put the icing on the bottom of the large cupcake and then grab the little cupcake and put it on the icing flat side down
4 : Put frosting all around the cupcakes so it looks like a soft serve ice-cream
5 : Sprinkle the sprinkles on the frosting
This will make you smile when you it eat!

P.D.O Person

P.D.O is back and its better that ever. The kowhai goes outside school and goes to pohutakawa playhouse.The kahikatea go outside school and go to master bowl and have hamburgers for lunch.The person from room 5 that won it is kendyl congratulations.

Food fair

Last week DPS had there food fair there was a sausage sizzle,sushi,popcorn,lolly kebabs and much much more. We raised up to 6.000 dollars congratulations DPS.

touch rugby is on again with lots of kids who are eager to join!! all the teams are practicing hard and are improving every second! so go all teams !!!!
